Why are you Here?
To make money? To watch TV? To eat chocolate, drink alcohol, party, to buy a house, to buy a bigger house, a nice car, a flash car, a loft in in the docks, to earn a mega bonus, to have power?
Here are some different answers.
To travel, to have relationships, to connect intimately, to love your cat, to appreciate nature, to raise a child, to become accomplished, to create, to understand yourself, to find your calling and make your part of the world a better place.
What's it going to take to live the life you want to live? To find your calling? To have the courage to show up as your whole self - your mind, heart, your body and higher self - your soul.
Begin by finding what lights you up, nurture these moments. Identify your strengths such as, gentleness, empathy, humility, passion, imagination, devotion and rebellion, to name just a few. And if you want to live a life that will make a difference, the chances are you won't make it happen all by yourself. You're going to need to master the art of human connection and asking for help.
Finally, you will need a belief system that celebrates rather than undermines your uniqueness one that allows you to stoke courage over fear. Courage is your work.
So what else will living the life you really want to live entail? Inevitably it will involve focussed action and dedication, but it will also take disappointment, sadness and, on occasions, heart break.
You must decide if the risk to live the life you want is worth it. Are the low points worth the breakthrough? Is the mastery worth the effort?
The persistent voice inside your head wants you to use your talents and is hoping you will say "yes".
